What's New at YesterYearsGoodies

Some vintage goodies must be shared ... because they're gorgeous, well-preserved, rare, or just plain weird. This blog is also an escape valve which prevents me from harassing family members with news of my latest finds. Some of them (my finds, not my family [yet]) actually find new homes, and I like to think it's because of their great character, small prices, the impeccable service which accompanies their purchase, and what I say about them in my blog.

Just Listed: Vintage Porcelier Drip Coffee Maker

Love the sturdy look of cool, smooth vitreous china -- and this drip coffeemaker, complete with ceramic filter, has the added appeal of a three-dimensional, handpainted colonial fireplace scene -- Porcelier's popular "Hearth" pattern.

Also quite useful as a teapot, this gorgeous item was made some time between 1927 and 1954 (at least, that's when Porcelier was in business) and doesn't look to have been used. Even the label is intact.
